Google review link + QR card maker
One link that drops customers straight into the "write a review" box, a QR code for it, and a card you can print for the counter.
01 Paste your Place ID or review link
Where do I find this?
Option A: from your Google Business Profile
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your business profile.
- Search Google for your business name. Your profile tools show up above the results.
- Click Ask for reviews (sometimes labeled Get more reviews).
- Copy the link it shows you. It looks like g.page/r/…/review.
Option B: look up your Place ID
- Open Google's free Place ID Finder.
- Type your business name in the box on the map and pick it from the list.
- Copy the Place ID. It's a long code that usually starts with ChIJ.
A normal Google Maps link or a "Share" link won't work here. Those open your listing, not the review box.
02 Your review link
Tap "Test it" on your phone. It should open the review box for your business.
QR code
Text or email it
Send it right after the job, while it's fresh. That's when people say yes.
03 Print a counter card
Cards are 4.25 × 5.5 in, four to a letter sheet. Print on card stock and cut on the lines.
How to get more Google reviews (without being pushy)
- Ask everyone, every time. Make it part of finishing the job, not something you remember on good days.
- Ask in person, then send the link. A quick "would you mind leaving us a review?" plus a text with the link beats either one alone.
- Make it one tap. That's what this link is for. Every extra step loses people.
- Reply to every review, good or bad. Future customers read your replies.
What Google doesn't allow
- Offering discounts, freebies or anything else in exchange for reviews.
- Asking only happy customers (sometimes called "review gating").
- Writing reviews for yourself, or having staff or family do it.
Breaking these rules can get reviews removed or your profile restricted, so keep it simple and ask everyone.
Questions
Is this really free?
Yes. No signup, no watermark you can't turn off, no catch. It runs in your browser and we don't save what you type.
Will the link stop working?
Usually not, but Google can change a Place ID if your listing changes (a move, a merge). Tap your own link every few months to make sure it still opens the review box.
Why doesn't my Maps link work?
Regular Maps and Share links open your listing, and customers then have to find the review button themselves. This tool needs your Place ID or the review link from your profile so it can skip that step.
Want a heads-up when the next tool is ready?
One email per new tool. That's it.
